India has strongly condemned Pakistan’s reported airstrikes on Afghan territory, describing them as a blatant act of aggression that resulted in several civilian casualties, including women and children.

In an official statement issued on June 29, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said the strikes constitute an assault on Afghanistan’s sovereignty and pose a direct threat to regional peace and stability.

The statement further alleged that the incident reflects Pakistan’s “persistent pattern of reckless behaviour” and accused Islamabad of attempting to externalize its internal failures through acts of violence beyond its borders.

Expressing sympathy for the victims, India conveyed its condolences to the Afghan families who lost their loved ones and wished a speedy recovery to those injured.

Reiterating its long-standing position, India affirmed its unwavering support for Afghanistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, while calling attention to the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the region.
