Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health reported that the ongoing Israeli war in Lebanon has resulted in 15,482 casualties between March 2 and June 14, 2026, including 3,783 deaths and 11,699 injuries.
According to figures released by the ministry’s Public Health Emergency Operations Center, casualties have been recorded across several regions of the country, with the highest numbers reported in southern and eastern areas affected by the conflict.
The health sector has also suffered significant losses. Authorities said 17 hospitals were damaged, while three hospitals were forced to close due to the hostilities.
The ministry reported 172 attacks on emergency medical services (EMS), resulting in the deaths of 133 health workers, including 128 EMS personnel and five healthcare workers. A total of 402 health workers were injured, including 255 EMS staff and 147 healthcare workers.
In addition, 38 EMS assets were damaged, while 173 vehicles were damaged during attacks linked to the conflict, the ministry reported.
The report stated that 19 emergency medical teams remain operational across 29 hospitals, supported by 69 registered personnel and 60 deployed staff.
Lebanese health authorities continue to monitor the humanitarian impact of the conflict and have called for the protection of medical facilities and personnel under international humanitarian law.
