The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Thursday accused Hezbollah of another “blatant ceasefire violation” after an explosive drone struck southern Lebanon, severely injuring an IDF reserve officer and lightly wounding three reserve non-commissioned officers (NCOs) and another NCO.
In a statement, the IDF said the incident followed what it described as numerous ceasefire violations by Hezbollah, adding that four Israeli soldiers were killed in combat against the group in southern Lebanon the previous night.

The Israeli military alleged that Hezbollah remained committed to “causing instability in the region” rather than adhering to the ceasefire.
Hezbollah had not immediately commented on the allegations.
