Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of Iran, said that the only way to end the ongoing war in the region is through recognition of Iran’s “legitimate rights,” payment of reparations, and firm international guarantees against future aggression.
In a post on the social media platform X, Pezeshkian said he had spoken with the leaders of Russia and Pakistan and reaffirmed Tehran’s commitment to regional peace.
“Talking to leaders of Russia and Pakistan, I reaffirmed Iran’s commitment to peace in the region. The only way to end this war—ignited by the Zionist regime & US—is recognizing Iran’s legitimate rights, payment of reparations, and firm int’l guarantees against future aggression.”, Pezeshkian wrote on X.
