DC directs officials to complete pending works expeditiously
Ludhiana, November 28
Deputy Commissioner Jitendra Jorwal inspected the progress of the School of Eminence (SOE) in Millerganj on Thursday. Accompanied by senior officials from various departments, the DC stated that the SOE will feature smart classrooms, modern infrastructure, laboratories, CCTV surveillance, and facilities for indoor games and etc. The Public Works Department is constructing the SOE here.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized that the Punjab government is prioritizing quality services in both education and health sectors. He noted that the SOE is an ambitious initiative launched by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and urged officials to complete any pending work promptly. The mission of the School of Eminence program is to revolutionize the education sector, promoting holistic development and a brighter future for students.
During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner observed that the building work for the school is nearly complete, with only a few tasks remaining. He instructed officials from various departments to expedite the completion of the works as soon as possible. He also took detailed review of on-going works and provided necessary directions to officials during his visit to the school.
The inspection was also attended by DEO Dimple Madaan, officials from the Public Works Department, and others.
