  Iran Declares "Historic Victory" Over U.S., Says Iranian Media

  Iran has declared a “historic and crushing defeat” of the United States and Israel after 40 days of war, saying Washington had been forced to accept a 10-point Iranian proposal, according to state media outlet Press TV.

  In a statement, the Supreme National Security Council of Iran said the U.S. had agreed to a 10-point proposal that includes a permanent ceasefire, lifting of all sanctions, and withdrawal of U.S. combat forces from the region. It also listed continued Iranian control over the Strait of Hormuz, acceptance of uranium enrichment, termination of United Nations-related resolutions, and payment of compensation to Iran among the terms, the media report said.
