Pennsylvania State Police Identify Victims in Attempted Trump Assassination
The Pennsylvania State Police have identified the three people who were shot during the attempt to kill former President Trump at a rally in Butler County yesterday.
The person who died is Corey Comperatore, a 50-year-old from Sarver, PA. The other two, David Dutch, 57, from New Kensington, PA, and James Copenhaver, 74, from Moon Township, PA, are both in stable condition in the hospital, according to the information.
Colonel Christopher Paris, the head of the Pennsylvania State Police, said, “Our thoughts are with the victims and their families today.” The police are working hard with other agencies to investigate the incident.
Governor Shapiro has ordered flags at all state buildings to be flown at half-staff to honor Corey Comperatore. He also sent thoughts and prayers to the injured victims and their families.
